The Southeast Community Development Corporation (SCDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing educational and technological equity in Southeast Los Angeles County.
This summer, SCDC will host STEM-focused technology camps at two locations: the SCDC Bell Gardens HQ and the Bell Tech Center. These camps will offer engaging, hands-on classes in subjects such as coding, electronics, robotics, 3D printing, and other emerging technologies based on community interest.

Volunteer
Are you passionate about STEM and enjoy working with kids or need to complete hours for school? Join our team as a volunteer to support and inspire the next generation of innovators!
What You Could Do:
- Help provide personalized guidance to students who need extra support with STEM concepts and skills.
- Challenge advanced or gifted students with enrichment activities.
- Support children who need extra help to complete tasks.
Aiding teachers in planning learning activities and maintaining records. - Mentor our FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge robotics teams in building and coding their robots for competition.
This is an exciting opportunity to volunteer and be part of something meaningful! Dedicated volunteers are essential to SCDC’s mission.
