SELA Youth Hub Network: Reimagining Youth-Serving Ecosystems

Youth-led. Community-informed. Partner-driven.

A coordinated network built for SELA’s young people

The SELA Youth Hub is a coordinated network connecting young people in Southeast Los Angeles to programs, resources, leadership opportunities, workforce pathways, mental health supports, and community connections — all in one place.

No more falling through the cracks. The Hub creates seamless referrals, shared spaces, and wraparound support by bringing programs and partners together under one mission: invest in SELA’s youth.

◆ Why SELA Needs a Youth Hub

Closing the gaps that hold youth back

Southeast LA’s young people face a fragmented landscape of services — programs that don’t talk to each other, duplicated efforts, and critical gaps in referral systems. The Youth Hub is the solution.

Fragmented Referrals

Youth and families navigate dozens of disconnected programs without clear pathways. The Hub creates a single, coordinated referral network so no young person is left without direction.

Youth & community voice

Services designed without youth input miss the mark. The Hub centers young people as architects of programs that affect their lives through the Youth Executive Board.

Shared spaces & resources

Partners often work in silos without shared facilities or data. The Hub creates shared physical and digital spaces where collaboration replaces duplication.

Cross-sector collaboration

Education, workforce, health, and community organizations each hold a piece of the puzzle. The Hub convenes all sectors around a shared agenda for Southeast LA youth.

Wraparound support

Young people need more than one service — they need housing, mental health, workforce, and education support together. The Hub coordinates across sectors to deliver holistic care.

Sustainable funding

Fragmented organizations compete for the same dollars. The Hub coordinates advocacy for aligned, sustainable funding that benefits the whole ecosystem — not just individual programs.
