Afterschool Program

SCDC offers FREE Afterschool Activities to develop youth leadership and college preparation skills. This program utilizes project-based learning to nurture curiosity, creativity and collaboration to develop college preparation skills and increase academic success in science, technology, engineering and math.

Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy is the understanding of concepts including saving, investing, and debt, that leads to an overall sense of financial well-being and self-trust. Our classes help individuals learn how to be money smart and more.

Southeast Initiative

The Southeast Cities Technology Collaborative, under the management of the Southeast Community Development Corporation, will conduct a three year technology initiative designed to expand community broadband access points, provide computer literacy training and enhance existing community service programs throughout the Southeast region of Los Angeles County

Summer Tech Camp

SCDC offers a FREE Summer Tech camp for students between 2nd to 12th grade. The goal of this program is into increase the interest and skills of youth in science and technology while building friendships and memories.

AYU Youth Development

The mission of AYU is to develop youth leadership academies which utilize project based learning to nurture curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in an effort to develop 21st century skills, increase academic success and build community. Our youth development program will use technology and project based learning as a platform that will inspire youth to acquire 21st Century Citizen skills.
