Cesar is the Executive Director of the Southeast Community Development Corporation. He also serves on the Board of the Southeast Rio Vista YMCA, Southeast Salvation Army, Rio Hondo Boys and Girls Club, Human Service Association, and the Huntington Park Police Activity League. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City with a Masters of Public Administration and has 15 years of non-profit management experience.
Sara is the Program Manager and Computer Literacy Instructor for SCDC. She teaches Computer literacy in both English and Spanish for youth and adults. She has six years of teaching experience and program management. She attended the California University of Long Beach where she received a BA in Recreation and Leisure Studies. She also has a certificate in Management of non-profit and volunteer services.
Helena is the Administrative Assistant and Youth Computer Literacy Instructor for SCDC. She instructs a youth program at Rio Hondo Boys & Girls Club. She has worked with the Southeast Rio Vista YMCA and the Southeast Salvation Army. She is currently a student at Long Beach City College pursuing a degree in Journalism.
Terri holds a Masters degree in Administrative Management from Redlands University, a Bachelors degree in Business from Mount St. Mary’s College, along with California Credentials as a Life Agent and CBEST. Terri’s professional experience, prior to joining the non-profit sector, includes contracts, marketing, operations, management, training, customer/public relations, and teaching.
Terri was born in Baja California. She immigrated with her family to the United States when she was 12 years old. Terri lived and attended schools in East Los Angeles until she went to college.
At SCDC Terri’s responsibilities include grant writing, and private sector contract development, as well as instructing Basic Computer classes in Spanish. Terri also teaches classes in resume writing, interview skills, and job search.
Terri is a firm believer in life-long learning, and continues to pursue learning opportunities by taking courses at UCLA in areas of interest.
Trinidad is the Mobile Technology Manager for SCDC. He manages the SCDC mobile technology center and 10 regional computer labs. Trinidad has previously worked with the Southeast Salvation Army as their Operations Manager. Trinidad is currently pursuing Apple Certification as well as A+ Certification.
